Immediate Relief for Families Affected by Food Stamps Benefits Disruption

What is Gifted Harvest?

In response to recent government shutdowns that have halted SNAP/ food stamp benefits for many families, we are proud to introduce Gifted Harvest—a program dedicated to providing immediate assistance during this challenging time. Each participating family will receive a $150 gift card to Kroger grocery store, helping to bridge the gap until benefits resume, particularly with the holiday season approaching.
 
We invite you to join us in making a meaningful impact. Your contributions can help us support families facing food insecurity. You can sponsor a family for just $150, and we also welcome donations of any amount to help us reach as many families as possible.

Sign-Up Instructions

We understand that the recent government shutdown may affect your SNAP benefits, and we are here to help.
Through our Gifted Harvest program, we are providing $150 Kroger grocery cards to eligible households.
Here’s how you can sign up:

1. Choose the Church Nearest You:

We have partnered with four churches in the greater Atlanta area to facilitate the distribution of grocery gift cards. Please select the church location nearest to you from the icons below.

2. Fill Out the Application

Click on your chosen church icon, and you will be directed to the church's website, where you can fill out the easy application form to request your Kroger gift card.

3. Eligibility Requirement

To qualify for the grocery gift card, you must:

  • Provide proof of identification (such as a driver’s license or state ID).
  • Show proof that you are currently receiving SNAP benefits (such as your SNAP card).

4. Limitations

  • Each household is eligible to receive ONE gift card. We kindly ask that you refrain from signing up at more than one location to help us assist as many families as possible. Submitting multiple applications will result in disqualification from receiving a grocery gift card.
  • Please note that while we aim to assist as many families as possible, we cannot guarantee that every applicant will receive a Kroger gift card, as availability is dependent on donations.

5. Notification

  • After your application has been reviewed, selected recipients will receive an email containing the essential details for picking up your Kroger gift card.
  • If an eligible applicant is not selected to receive a Kroger gift card during the first round of distribution, their name will be placed in a queue. As additional donations are received, applicants will be notified about the opportunity to collect their grocery gift card.

6. Pick-Up Information

The first round of gift cards will be distributed on Sunday, November 23rd. To ensure a smooth process, please bring the following items:

  • Your ID.
  • Proof of SNAP benefits.
  • Your gift card approval email.

 
Please note that we are not accepting walk-up requests for grocery gift cards. To receive a grocery gift card, applicants must complete the application process and receive a confirmation email. This system is in place to ensure that we can manage the distribution effectively and provide support to all eligible applicants based on the number of donations received.
