Support for individual in need of food assistance

What is Gifted Harvest?

Gifted Harvest is a program dedicated to supporting individuals facing food insecurity. Established in response to the loss of SNAP benefits during the US government shutdown in November 2025, we stepped in to help families and individuals in need of food assistance.

Today, we continue our mission by providing $50 gift cards to Kroger grocery stores, ensuring that individuals and families can obtain essential groceries throughout the year. The need for food assistance persists, and we are committed to making a positive impact in our community.

You can be part of this effort! By sponsoring an individual for just $50 or donating any amount, you help us reach more people in need.

Sign-Up Instructions

Through our Gifted Harvest program, we are providing $50 Kroger grocery cards to an eligible individual.
Here’s how you can sign up:

1. Complete the Application:

Fill out the application form to apply for a Kroger gift card.

2. Application Review:

Our team will review all submitted applications.

3. Eligibility Criteria:

  • Demonstrate Financial Need: Provide a brief explanation of your current financial situation and how the gift card would assist you or your household.

4. Notification of Approval:

If selected, you will receive an approval email detailing the next steps.

5. Receive Gift Card:

Approved applicants will receive their gift card by mail.

6. Additional Distribution Opportunities

  • Hand-to-Hand Distribution: Gift cards will be delivered directly to local shelters and rescue missions. They will also be handed out at Running For The People events.
  • Community Events: During holiday giveaways, such as Thanksgiving and Christmas, gift cards will be provided through an application process. Distribution locations will be announced for each event.

Important Notes:

  • One Application Only: To maintain eligibility, please do not submit multiple applications. Submitting more than once will result in disqualification from receiving a gift card.
  • Privacy Assurance: All submitted information will be kept confidential and used solely for the purpose of this program.
